Good blog, Kaushik. Just one correction. The spelling of stock, block, rock in Hindi is same as you mentioned in Marathi. Hindi too has same symbol. That symbol has short 'O' sound.

ReplyDeleteI'm a North Indian settled in Mumbai for the last 17 years and never bothered to learn Marathi. Maybe that's because it's so easy to get by without Marathi in a city like Mumbai where almost everybody already speaks English or Hindi. But I just recently discovered your blog and I must say, it's made me fall in love with the language! I wish I had learned it earlier but your teaching style is amazingly easy to follow. Thank you so much for helping us outsiders feel more like a Mumbaikar. Jai Maharashtra!
ReplyDeleteHi Amit, Thanks a lot for your feedback. I am happy that it brought you closer to Marathi and Mumbai.
DeleteI would like to interact more with you, help you further, know more about your experience of my blog. It will be easy to do it over mail. So can you plz mail me on LearnMarathiFast@gmail.com
